Meet George S. Jankiewicz, CFP®, CPA

George has more than three decades of experience in helping people meet their financial goals through strategies designed specifically for each family’s needs.  George specializes in portfolio management, as well as tax and retirement income planning. He enjoys developing long-lasting relationships with clients and their families, and teaching tax planning, investment, and retirement concepts to people of all ages.


George joined United Planners Financial Services of America in 2008 after gaining 9.5 years of financial planning experience with at Clifton Gunderson LLP, where his practice focused on college funding and retirement planning.  George is a graduate of Towson University, where he  served  as an adjunct faculty member for nearly 20 years teaching the Certified Financial Planner® curriculum to future practitioners.  He earned his MBA from Loyola College in Maryland.


Active in the community, George is a past board member of the Maryland Financial Planning Association, and has served as Treasurer for numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Welcome One Homeless Shelter in Harford County and CurePSP, a national organization dedicated to advocating for people who live with severe neurological illnesses.  George is an active member of  St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bel Air, serving in capacities ranging from Treasurer to Elder. 


A native of Baltimore and long-time resident of Bel Air, George now resides in Cecil County with his wife Laurie.  He has two adult children, Phillip and Matthew, and stays active doting on his one year old granddaughter Natalie.
